The Arp Museum and the Künstlerhaus Edenkoben in southern Rhineland-Palatinate have enjoyed a fruitful partnership for many years. Last year saw the publication of the second volume in the ‘Arp im Ohr’ series, which brings together literary contributions created as part of a joint scholarship programme.
On 28 August from 17:00, the new director of the Künstlerhaus Edenkoben will introduce himself. PD Dr Björn Hayer is an expert on the Romantic era, in which visual art and literature were particularly closely linked. The exhibition Sehnsucht nach Utopia. Painting and Sculpture of Romanticism provides an opportunity for a public discussion with museum director Dr Julia Wallner on themes of Romanticism, outlooks and perspectives of the Künstlerhaus. The evening will end with a glass of wine on the museum terrace.
