BACKFISCH FESTIVAL WORMS

The Nibelungen city of Worms invites you to a big festival on the Rhine river every year at the end of August. Young and old meet on the “Kisselswiese” to celebrate together and enjoy the special atmosphere on the festival site, in the Wonnegau wine cellar, the Stiftskeller and in the “Gaadewirtschaft”.

It is the mixture of wine and folk festival that makes the Backfisch Festval so distinctive. Modern and traditional rides, the smell of sweets and hearty meals as well as the good wines from our local winemakers create a unique atmosphere that, in addition to us Wormsers, attracts many guests from outside.
