International Jazz Festival
In mid-June, Bingen will once again be transformed into the vibrant center of a musical journey full of rhythm, passion and creative improvisation for a weekend. Over 20 artists invite you to experience rousing concerts on 4 stages in the city center as well as with a unique view of the Mäuseturm & the UNESCO World Heritage Site “Upper Middle Rhine Valley” and to explore all facets of jazz. “Bingen Swingt is 3 days full of musical highlights, summery lightness and joie de vivre!” is how organizer Jens Thiele describes the concept.
Top-class established acts such as CHRIS HOPKINS MEETS THE YOUNG LIONS, the Annika Nilles Sextett or Robin with Nicole Johaenntgen meet newcomers such as BMW Young Jazz Award winner Moritz Renner or Newcomer Jazz Award winner Paul Scheugenpflug. This year's line-up will also feature popular locals and regional musicians. As in 2024, jazz expert and club veteran Christiane Böhnke-Geisse and musician Alex Funk will share the artistic direction.
The motto “Music meets Rhine & Wine” underlines the unique flair of the festival: the picturesque backdrop at the confluence of the Rhine and Nahe rivers and the diverse supporting program for young and old invite you to explore and experience the Rhine city, hearty winegrowers offer excellent Bingen wines in the midst of 4 wine-growing regions and regional restaurateurs offer culinary delights. A festival that pampers not only the ears but all the senses and guarantees unforgettable memories.

Festival tickets are available from 35.00 EUR,
day tickets from 19.00 EUR.
This year, for the first time, the RNN-KombiTicket includes free 2nd class travel to and from the festival on all buses and trains throughout the RNN network. The tickets are personalized at the time of purchase and are non-transferable.
