The St. Nicholas Market brings Christmas cheer to Bad Godesberg for four weeks. Visitors can look forward to culinary delicacies, a Christmas tree sale and handicrafts from all over the world from Theaterplatz to Fronhofer Galeria.
On Sunday shopping day (1:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.), (date to be confirmed) between 2:00 pm and 5:00 pm, every child up to the age of 12 will receive a chocolate St. Nicholas and a token for a carousel ride from Bad Godesberg Stadtmarketing e.V., as well as a hot drink, which will be served at the Weinhaus Schrauth. Bad Godesberg Stadtmarketing employees can be recognised by their red jackets and pointed caps.
To live up to the market's name, St. Nicholas will be visiting on Saturday, 6 December. From 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm, he will be stopping by the Fronhofer Galeria to greet young visitors.
This year, the club hut will once again be in its usual place opposite the Fronhof Galeria, stocked daily by different clubs. Here, homemade and home-baked goods will be sold for graduation parties, nursery school trips and for good causes.
We are once again looking forward to readings and Christmas performances by the Schauspielhaus – Theater Bonn.
From 27 December to 30 December, the ‘Christmas Afterglow’ will take place. Drink hot mulled wine, enjoy fresh potato pancakes and other delicacies. Younger visitors will also feel right at home. Whether it's a ride on the carousel, gingerbread or a toffee apple, there's plenty on offer to make a visit to the Christmas Afterglow worthwhile during the cold and quiet days leading up to New Year's Eve.
