That happened!

Sometimes hilariously funny, sometimes so spot-on in his observations that you'd think you were sitting in a cabaret.

Ralf Senkel traverses the boundaries of comedy and cabaret, and although he's always seated on every stage, he doesn't permanently occupy any one genre. It's up to the audience to recognize this balancing act. Equipped with a large portion of Rhineland in both language and heart, he journeys with you into his little world. In his village, he's a household name, and not just because of his incomparably fashionable jacket, which he always wears. Nevertheless, he says he doesn't have any "metabolic problems," even if that's precisely why people say he does.

Ralf's so-called "professional inactivity" gives him time to observe. Therefore, his stories are taken from everyday life, sometimes offbeat, sometimes serious, always astutely captured, and most importantly: incredibly funny. Unintentionally funny? "No, I do it voluntarily!" Ralf Senkel is the winner of the 2023 Tegtmeiers Erben Audience Award, the Dattelner Prize, and the Kremenholler Cabaret Prize, among others. He is also a regular guest on the "Midnight Peaks" program on WDR television and a guest on the Quatsch Comedy Club shows.

Experience this no-longer-so-secret insider tip of the comedy and cabaret scene in his first solo show – "He hit the spot!"
Ralf Senkel comes, sits, and tells his story... and afterward, you'll say, "He hit the spot!" – we promise.
