We warmly welcome you to the Löwenburger Hof. Our forestry is located in the middle of the Siebengebirge, the oldest nature reserve in Germany - very close to the cities of Bonn, Königswinter and Bad Honnef. Several picturesque hiking trails intersect in front of our door, from Margarethenhöhe, Bad Honnef, Rhöndorf, Rommersdorf (Annatal), Aegidienberg and Schmelztal, as well as several long-distance hiking trails.
Take a look around our pages. You will learn current and historical information about the Löwenburger Hof as well as some interesting facts about the surrounding area. You can get a taste of our delicious offerings and we would be happy if you would like to hold your special celebration or event at the Löwenburg.
For your journey you have, among other things: the Margarethenhöhe car park in Königswinter is available. If you would like to enjoy a wonderful view of the Rhine river before your visit, we recommend the Lohrbergrundweg as a hiking trail to Löwenburger Hof or even the climb to the ruins. The descent then leads right past our restaurant.
Those who prefer simple and hearty dishes as well as regional specialties will be happy when they look at our food and drinks. Our rustic breakfast and home-style lunch are particularly popular. Of course, we also serve you coffee, our home-baked cakes and fresh waffles as well as Far Eastern tea specialties.
About history:
The alpine farm and the Löwenburg forester's lodge already existed at the end of the 18th century. It is assumed that the original alpine farming could be much older.
